Credits, refunds & your files

What a credit covers

One credit covers one source drawing, one floor and one site. Previewing, editing and saving are free. Starting an export assigns a credit before the export file is generated. A one-credit purchase is $5 USD; five credits are $15 USD, allocated at $3 per credit. Purchases are one-time: there is no subscription or automatic renewal.

Unused credits never expire. Each project receives 30 days of access from credit assignment, regardless of when its credit was purchased. Corrections, export retries and repeat downloads use the same assigned credit during that window. Buying another credit does not renew an existing project. Deleting a project does not automatically return its credit.

Included corrections cover linework, scale and rotation, with center adjustments within 500 metres of the originally assigned site. A different image, floor, site or substantial redraw requires a new project and credit. If a legitimate correction or naming mistake is blocked, contact support before paying again. Project limits include three successful traces and 100 saved revisions per project, five active projects, and PNG/JPEG images up to 20 MiB and 16 megapixels (12,000 pixels per side maximum).

Refund eligibility

Refunds use the actual price allocated to the selected credits, capped by the remaining payment amount. A five-pack credit is refunded at $3, without repricing the credits you keep or deducting processing fees.

How requests work

Use Billing to select the payment, credits and reason. Describe the problem without including confidential drawings or payment-card details. The request reference, amount and status appear in Payment history. We aim to acknowledge support requests within two business days; review is not approval, and approval is not processor completion.

If a request was declined, contact Support@mapnib.com with its reference and new evidence. Support must review that evidence before opening another review for the same credits. Changing the reason or submitting the same complaint again does not reopen a review or pause project expiry. This follow-up process also applies to duplicate-charge and applicable legal-rights claims and does not limit those rights.

Requests suspend the selected credits and their downloads while processing. A payment dispute can suspend all credits from that payment. The affected projects' access clocks and automatic expiry deletion are paused until resolution. Successful refunds revoke the selected download entitlements. A declined or failed refund restores eligible access with the paused time preserved. Files already downloaded cannot be recalled.

Verified export-service failures also pause the affected project's clock and deletion while you retry or seek a remedy. A successful retry resolves that service hold. A refund is never marked issued just because a request was submitted.

Storage and deletion

Unactivated drafts expire seven days after creation. Activated project access and storage end at the deadline shown in the workspace and Billing. Expiry reminders appear there during the last seven days. Download and retain the files you need before the deadline; MapNib is not permanent archival storage. Previously downloaded copies remain on your device. Deleting a project yourself removes its stored files even if a request is being reviewed.

Minimal payment, accepted-policy, refund-decision and export-availability/download-start records are kept separately from project files in the account ledger. A recorded download start is not proof that every byte reached your browser. See the Privacy Policy for how account information is handled.

Understand the output

MapNib produces editable draft geometry. Automated tracing may omit or misinterpret details and requires your review. Position, dimensions and room measurements depend on your source image and calibration. Results are not survey-certified. Obtain independent professional verification before relying on them for construction, engineering, legal boundaries or safety-critical decisions. Compatibility with every destination application is not guaranteed.

Inspect the preview before assigning a credit and check exported results in your intended application. You must have permission to upload and process the drawing and any location information you provide. Preview validation checks technical readiness; it does not certify accuracy or fitness for a particular task.

When assessing an export problem, we distinguish reproducible defects from disclosed limitations, source-image issues and calibration or editing choices. A recorded download alone does not establish that the output was free of defects. Support may help repair the export before deciding whether a refund is appropriate.

Nothing in this policy limits rights available under applicable law. Contact Support@mapnib.com with your payment or request reference.
