MAPNIB / PROJECT PREPARATION CHECKLIST MapNib is in development. This checklist does not enroll you in a pilot. Keep sensitive drawings private until an approved upload route is available. 1. YOUR WORKFLOW What indoor overlay are you preparing? Which destination mapping tool and version will you use? What will make the output useful to you? 2. YOUR SOURCE One flat, clean, black-line PNG/JPEG of a single floor. White or transparent background, with readable strokes. Confirm that you have permission to process the drawing. PDF/CAD, photographs, colored or distorted plans are outside current scope. 3. YOUR REFERENCE Identify two points and their measured distance. Record the unit and measurement source; flag estimates. Record the image center's latitude/longitude and clockwise rotation. Identify a trusted reference for checking alignment. 4. YOUR REVIEW Decide which strokes to retain and which labels/furnishings to remove. Expect linework, not inferred rooms, routing, or wall semantics. Check alignment and geometry in the destination tool. Define an acceptable alignment tolerance for your task. 5. YOUR NEXT STEP Explore the synthetic demo and read the MapNib field guide. Public enrollment, customer uploads, pricing, and live payments are not available.
